Leaders

There are many ways people lead in our congregation: through hospitality, music, greeting, and leading prayers. Some have visible roles while others serve and lead behind the scenes. Some have titles and specific areas of responsibility while others do not.

YKAC is overseen by what the Bible calls ‘elders’ (see 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:5-9). Prospective elders are prayefully discerned and they are affirmed by congregational vote. They lead by serving others. They are ultimately responsible for our life together.
